We all made New Year's resolutions and wishes for the World to kick off the New Year.

Basket Weaving

The children used recycled yogurt cups and yarn to make baskets for Thanksgiving. When they were finished with their baskets they put in Sage, greens, and messages. We hope these will add to your Thanksgiving decor!

The Life Cycle of a Butterfly Improv.

During our insect workshop we did an improvisation of the life cycle of a butterfly. The students really enjoyed this and did a great job acting out what they had learned.

Our insect theme and workshops

Hello everyone,
We have enjoyed learning about insects together. We have read lots of good books, sung songs, acted out life cycles, and created insect sculptures. We've also gone to four different insect workshops here in Discovery House. We are looking forward to hosting an Insect Open House Pot Luck breakfast on Thursday Novemeber 5th at 8:00.
